There are plenty of awesome couples on the planet, but when they’re both famous celebrities it’s a little bit more interesting. There are infamous couples (or ex-couples) like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Brad and Jennifer Aniston (honestly, any couple containing Brad Pitt counts), but the sports world has a few of their own. Athletes are known for being able to get “anyone they want,” but in these cases, that amounted to good, healthy relationships.
Dwyane Wade is a 12-time NBA All-Star and a 3-time NBA Champion. He’s been a part of the All-NBA first, second, and third teams multiple times and even won the NBA scoring title back in 2009. He’s made millions and millions of dollars over his career, so what could make his life any better? Being married to a beautiful actress like the Gabrielle Union, of course!
She’s been in movies like Bad Boys II, Bring It On, Think Like A Man, and 10 Things I Hate About You. The 45-year old actress and the 35-year old NBA champion make a great couple
Jrue Holiday was a 23-year-old NBA All-Star in 2013, and a year earlier his wife, Lauren Holiday was winning a gold medal with the United States women’s soccer team. The couple went through a huge scare when Lauren was diagnosed with a brain tumor during her pregnancy. Jrue even took a leave of absence from the New Orleans Pelicans in order to care for his wife. Thankfully the tumor was taken care of and she gave birth to their daughter who is completely healthy.
Carmelo and La La Anthony
The ten-time NBA All-Star and his TV personality wife split up recently, but they still count. Melo was an NBA scoring champion and he’s one of the most decorated Olympic Basketball players of all time. Alani “La La” Vázquez is a TV personality, a businesswoman, producer, actress, and a New York Times best-selling author. La La and Melo tied the knot back in 2010, and they had a son named Kiyan Anthony. The two split over the summer, but La La has said that a divorce is “on hold.” Only time will tell what that actually means.
